About the Business
My name is Tom Smith and I am a freelance web designer and web developer based in Chester, Cheshire. I started building websites and running my own businesses at the age of 12. A lot has changed on the web since then, but I keep up-to-date with all the latest technologies to ensure all my websites are cutting-edge and interactive. I have over 7 years of commercial experience in the IT industry in web development based roles as well as a degree in Computer Science from the University of Warwick.
My experience has allowed me to develop an in-depth understanding of the web and how people interact with, and use, web sites. This is allows me to design and build sites that are both easy to use and visually appealing. You can see some of my recent work in my portfolio. I have a keen interest in business and currently run several of my own online business including Window Tint.co.uk.
