Top Spin Web Design is a web design and development company based in Worcester, Worcestershire. It was set up in 2007 by Matthew Jenkins.
After spending 8 years working as an analyst programmer in Worcester, the opportunity arose to take a slight change in my career path. My wife went back to work full time, whilst I took over the childcare duties of our two boys. With one at school and the other at nursery 2 days a week I had the free time to set up Top Spin Web Design.
My two main design goals in building a web site are firstly that it should be useable by and accessible to as many people as possible and secondly that it should be quick and easy to update. The first goal is achieved by ensuring that the code is standard compliant, largely by using XHTML and CSS. The second goal is also achieved in this way, but also by building database driven web sites.
